About the artist:
Lawrence Jean-Louis is developing as a contemporary beaded jewelry artist, a photographer, and author. Two beaded jewelry artists whose work she admires are Diane Fitzgerald and Maggie Meister. The goal is to achieve that level of mastery with consistent practice, while also incorporating mixed media moving forward.
Some of her favorite traditional visual artists include Jackson Pollock, Piet Mondrian, Vincent van Gogh, Salvador Dali, Frida Kahlo, Alexander Calder, Johannes Vermeer, and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
