Handmade in Kansas City by Anthony Pack
Combining basic wood working skills, found objects, and a quirky sense of humor, Anthony Pack tries to touch the inner child within people through his artwork. Most of his work is comprised of recycled materials. Found objects inspire ideas, drawing on his sense of humor to see them for what they could be, rather than limit them to their intended purpose. Nails, screws, and washers might become eyes, springs might become a mouth or neck, rusty nails get a second life as hands or feet and painted scrap lumber becomes the body of the figure. He creates this artwork on his own, relying on the emotional support of his wife and four cats.
