- Care: keep dry and clean with a jewelry cloth to protect the finish. Jewelry with raw brass findings will darken over time, but can be easily cleaned with vinegar or a brass polish. The vintage findings may have slight discoloration or dark spots, which should be considered part of their unique character.
About Michelle Starbuck Designs:
Michelle graduated from Drake University with a BFA in Painting and a BA in Psychology in 2004. She moved to Chicago immediately after graduation with zero life plans. In 2005, while managing a local boutique, she started making jewelry and selling it at the shop. Two years later she was featured in Lucky Magazine as a standout local designer. In 2009 she began working at Lillstreet Art Center. It was this job that allowed her to save money to invest in her business and spend time growing it before taking the leap to full time self employment in 2014. Her idea of a perfect day would be going to the farmer’s market, then making jewelry while watching British crime dramas without being interrupted for the rest of the day.
