Set of Four 8 x 8" prints
Every October I write an autumn haiku each day. With these haikus, I have taken my writings and interpreted them in poetic visual form. Perfect for crisp fall walls, or year round.
#1 Reads: like a skeleton / waiting to hatch and go home / I taste fall just fine
#2 Reads: I am the daughter / brown eyed like the holy leaves / prepared to hit ground
#3 Reads: bathed in crisp amber / delicately dancing swirls / to die gracefully
#4 Reads: sacred ghosts in sheets / beg for candy but really / we're just pretending

About the Artist:
Chloe Hough is a native Kansan currently living in Kansas City, Missouri. Her artwork has cycled through many forms, from written word to watercolor, and most recently she has been drawn to mixed media projects with acrylic paint, paper manipulation, and 3D sculpted elements. Inspired by the dark dreaminess of fairytales, the craft of language through literature, and old remembering in spiritual matters, her work centers around storytelling by way of visual poetry and the uncanny. Chloe's work can be found on chloeintheprairie.etsy.com where her wares include more art prints, home goods, apparel, tarot, and magic.
